Setting your personal availability for appointments

So you want customers to schedule appointment (requests) with you. But of course, you're not available 24/7 to meet up with customers. So that's where availability hours come in!

In this section, you'll find out about how setting your availability hours will help you in restricting the possibilities you give to customers so that the meeting times work for you.

What are my default availability hours?

Your default availability hours are the same as the opening hours of the office(s) you're assigned to.

How to:

  1. Go to Navigation > Profile > Availability
  2. Click on the 'Set availability' button 
  3. Add/move/delete availability hours with a simple drag and drop movement.
  4. Save by pressing the white checkmark in the upper right corner.


Can I set different availability hours if I work for different offices?

When you're assigned to multiple offices, you can of course set the details for both offices separately.

How to:

  1. Go to Navigation >Profile > Availability
  2. Select your desired office from the list
  3. Set the availability with a drag an drop movement
  4. Save by clicking the white checkmark in the upper right corner 

How to deal with holidays, days-off and exceptions to my regular hours?

Sometimes there's an exception to your normal availability hours because of a holiday or family business. These exceptions can be added easily.

How to:

  1. Go to Navigation > Profile > Availability
  2. click on the 'Add exception' button
  3. Select the date (and time in case it's not the whole day)
  4. Click on add and save with the checkmark in the upper right corner

How do my availability hours and my connected calendars play together?

You want customers to plan appointments when you're available. To do so we look at your defined availability and your planned appointments. 
Since you can have other appointments planned in your business calendar, linking it to Skedify gives you the advantage to further improve the accuracy of the free times presented to customers.

Note: Skedify does not need the details of your personal appointments, just your availability.
