How to restart an ongoing video-call

Each Skedify video call has its own unique virtual meeting room and identifier that is only available for the duration of the call. Once a call is ended, the virtual meeting room is closed and will no longer be accessible.  For practical reasons, we advise against restarting an ongoing video-call.

However, in some cases it might be required to restart your video call.  Use cases include degraded network connection, issues with peripherals or if you need to move physically causing you to lose connection.

How to?

Do not close the video call by clicking the in-call “end call” option as this will not only end the call but will also permanently close the virtual meeting room, rendering the video-call link no longer available.

Method 1 - Reload the page
